On February 7, the first tower foundation concrete pouring for the Laos 230 kV Pakmong 2 – Naphia Transmission Project, undertaken by our company, was successfully completed. This milestone marks the official entry of the project into the critical phase of main line construction.

The project is located in Xieng Khouang Province, Laos. The company's scope of work includes the expansion bays at the 230 kV Pakmong2 Substation and the 500 kV Naphia Substation, along with the construction of approximately 72.7 km of associated 230 kV transmission line. Since the official commencement of construction on January 30, the project team has confronted complex overseas conditions and a tight schedule. Through scientific planning of construction schemes, precise allocation of manpower and materials, the team efficiently completed critical preparatory tasks, including field line resurvey, scheme optimization, equipment mobilization, and the construction of nearly 100 km of access roads.

During the first foundation pouring, the team strictly adhered to leading domestic process standards and implemented full-process quality control to ensure excellent foundation quality. This achievement fully demonstrates the company's professional expertise and strong performance capability in international power transmission and transformation projects, laying a solid foundation for the efficient advancement of the entire line construction going forward.

As a vivid example of China's power technology and standards "going global," upon completion, the project will effectively optimize the grid structure in northern Laos, significantly enhance regional power transmission capacity and supply reliability, and provide strong support for the efficient consumption of local clean energy. It will play an important role in promoting the upgrading of Laos' energy industry and driving socioeconomic development in the region.
