On August 1, FUJIAN ELECTRIC POWER ENGINEERING CO., LTD. (FEPEC) and Terra Solar Philippines Inc (TSPI) signed a contract for the 500kV transmission line project of Terra Solar Project, which is the world's single largest PV project.

The Terra PV project, invested and constructed by Manila Electric Company (MERALCO), is located in the provinces of Nueva Ecija in the Philippines, with the construction of a 3.5 GW of PV backed up to 4.5 GWh of battery energy storage, which is expected to generate more than 5 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, accounting for 5% of the total electricity generation and 12% of the total demand of the Philippine power grid. The EPC works of the project cover the design, supply, construction and operation of the photovoltaic area, battery energy storage area, step up substation, switching station and transmission line, of which FEPEC has won the bid for the 500kV transmission line project, the implementation of which will significantly enhance the supply of renewable energy in the Philippines, and provide the local community with a more stable and sustainable power service.

The successful signing of this contract further consolidates FEPEC's leading position in the transmission and substation field in the Philippines, and also lays a solid foundation for opening up the Philippine renewable energy construction market in the future.
